Business Controller

A large local manufacturing business is looking for Business Controller to support their one of the manufacturing plants in East Java. In this job, you will be responsible for plant control, making sure operations run smoothly to achieve their financial and non-financial targets.
About the Business Controller Role:
This position will be placed in the manufacturing plant, reporting directly to the Finance Director. Based in Surabaya area, this is a great opportunity to join a sustainable and growing manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Champion the efficiency and effectiveness of all related financial and business processes, measuring and reporting on improvements

Ensure risks and opportunities are managed throughout the year and material business decisions are taking these risk and opportunities into account

Support the business planning cycle of manufacturing process, create strategic action plan, annual operational plan and latest estimates rolling forecast/actuals

Provide advice and guidance financially, and influence/strengthen decision making in the production and operation

Monitor and develop insight on the quantitative and qualitative performance of the financial standings, and communicate this insight through the preparation and delivery of streamlined reporting including commentary and KPIs

To succeed in this Business Controller role, you must possess good communication skills and be strong in business partnering.
Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Finance

Good communication skill

Conversant with spoken and written English

Extensive knowledge of business manufacturing process concepts

Strong analytical and numerical skills, with high accuracy

Excellent in managing yourself, convincing peers/superiors and achieving result

Hands-on and proactive mentality with high integrity

Minimum of 5 -10 years' experience in plant control at managerial level
