We are looking for a highly skilled Indonesia-qualified lawyer with 2-4+ years of experience to join our legal team. This role will be based in Jakarta. You will work closely with our business units as well as be responsible for the end-to-end process of legal matters. This fast-changing environment will enhance your ability to choose competing priorities, work in short turnaround times, and respond quickly to a business that is scaling fast. This is a broad role serving a variety of stakeholders which provides an excellent opportunity to get close to the business in this market while also actively participate in spreading our social impacts across the SEA. Responsibility:Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activitiesDraft and negotiate simple and complex commercial contracts across our various products, including segments of K-12, Business-to-Business (B2B), and lifelong learningsAdvising on general business law issues and managing the legal issues of all areas of the company, including but not limited to corporate matters, procurement, IPs, security, and othersEngage, partner, liaise with, and manage internal stakeholders (e.g. business units and senior management team) and external stakeholders (e.g. counterparts and external counsels) on ad-hoc projects and as needed to support the Company objectives and advice on legal risks and opportunities related to their strategies and business goalsTogether with other legal team members, develop and conduct engaging internal trainings for internal partners on various legal-related topics on commercial aspects as to reduce riskSupport a broad range of general corporate legal matters, legal documents filing, and other legal affairs that crop up in the day-to-day operations of a rapidly evolving edutech companyJob Requirements:Proven solid experience as in-house legal counsel or experienced lawyers in reputable law firms with 2-4+ years of experienceExcellent command of written and spoken English and Indonesia due to the nature of the businessDemonstrate a keen ability to issue-spot sensitive legal and business concerns, including a strong sense of when to escalate such matters to internal partners, and proactively propose solutionsA highly approachable, collegial, and collaborative approach, aiming to building bridges and balancing needs across a rapidly changing organization and able to empathize through differences of view and values of othersAn accountable and proactive self-starter, comfortable working independently and remotely with colleaguesStrong leadership, organizational, negotiation, and project management skillsHaving a PERADI license and/or masters degree would be advantageousNote :if you are interested in this position, you can also submit your resume at Ruangguru official Career page
