About the Assistant AP Manager Role:
In this key role, you will support the AP function. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a multinational company.

Key Responsibilities:

Timely and accurate reconciliation of major vendors and corporate card statements

Timely processing of all vendor invoices

Accurate and timely preparation of treasury report

Prepare and maintain tax documents (WHT 23/26 and VAT)

Check for GIT calculations and ensure the journal has been posted correctly

Monitor and ensure tax payments on a timely basis

To succeed in this Assistant AP Manager role, you must have great accounting skills

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent

Experience in accounts payable and reconciliations and tax knowledge is advantageous; preferably in apparel/fashion/FW or FMCG retail

Familiar with ERP applications, preferably Navision

Ability to work well in a team

Ability to complete tasks while functioning in a stressful environment

Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
