You will: Ensure strict compliance with import/Export compliance regulations including the Customs operations. Provide trade compliance and operational support for end to-end fulfillment and delivery processes including export reviews, Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) and Export Classification Control Number (ECCN) product classification, export transaction approvals, international documentation, customs broker management. Provide strategic and tactical support in developing, enabling, and managing international supply chains. Develops metrics containing international supply chain, non-freight costs such as import duties and taxes, customs brokerage fees, and customs clearance fees etc. Develop and implement strategies to reduce import expenses through leverage of international trade programs and customs regulations. Audits import and export documentation to ensure compliance to trade regulations and policies and ensure strict compliance with all applicable Import/Export compliance laws and regulations in Indonesia. Provide trade compliance support & advice on Customs valuation, origin determination, FTA determination, international documentation, permits /licenses, and customs broker management. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 8+ years of experience in direct import and/or export compliance and operations experience in a major corporation, service company, or law firm. Demonstrated skills in resolving complex compliance/business requirements Analytical skills, detail oriented, and possess the ability to anticipate problems and diffuse situations Desirable Requirements Bachelor's degree in related majors, Law, International Trade, Logistics, Business Administrative are preferred. Advanced degree is preferred (MBA, Law, International Trade, Logistics, etc.) Very good command over written and spoken English and fluent in local language and exposure to other foreign language is added advantage.
