Accounting Manager

An FMCG company in Jakarta is looking for an Accounting Manager to undertake all aspects of financial and accounting management, including the transformation to its new system implementation.
About the Accounting Manager Role:
The Accounting Manager will report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information, and be responsible for leading/managing an accounting team of six to eight people, and manage cash flow (AP, AR).

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including billing, AR, AP, GL and counsel, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition

Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

Prepare and issue timely monthly financial statements

Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

Support month-end and year-end close process

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

Manage and comply with local, and government reporting requirements

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit

To succeed in this Accounting Manager role, you must possess strong accounting operations of a manufacturing business.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of five years' overall experience as a senior accountant or finance controller

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Fluency in English, both oral and written

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Ability to operate and function the SAP system
