Accounting Manager

The world’s leading utilities company based outside Jakarta is currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager job to join their existing team. the ideal candidate will have three to five years' experience in budgeting and reporting knowledge within the industry. In this job you will be responsible for all finance and reporting matters for the company along with budgeting and controlling.About the Accounting Manager Role: As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting finance and reporting to the Financial Controller.Key Responsibilities: Month-end closing of the books and timely deliverables of requirementsEnsure compliance with GAAP and group accounting standardsReview balance sheet, profit loss, expenses and accounts reconciliationsPrepare variance analysis against budget and prior yearsManage external auditors and statutory reporting requirementsEnsure overall tax compliance, accuracy and timeliness of company’s tax reportingIdentify and mitigate tax risks by improving processes and implementing best practicesDoing some administration related HR payroll and insurance To succeed in this Accounting Manager role, you will need to be technically strong in accounting, finance and tax.Key Requirements: Bachelor (or above) degree in Accounting or equivalentAt least five years’ experience in financial analysis, reporting and systems implementationBrevet A and BGood command of EnglishAbility to work independently and proactivelyGood track record of managing and developing teamsPositive, driven, enthusiastic and ambitious for the business This Multinational Utility company has an outstanding reputation in its field and great value is placed on training and development.
