Job Responsibility Accounting and Tax Manager: We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic, and experienced Senior Accountant.
Reporting to the Financial Controller based in Melbourne, your duties will include but not limit to:
Manage and oversee the financial operations, including budgeting, costing and monthly reporting. Provide accurate and timely financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, audits, and tax filings. Lead and mentor a small finance and admin team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions. Oversee human resources activities related to finance, contracts, and legal matters. The successful candidate must have/be :
Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Business At least 8 years working experience Experience within the Manufacturing industries will also be highly regarded. You will have strong interpersonal skills, exceptional mathematical and analytical ability and the able to meet demanding deadlines.
