Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant Support to assist our Operations Department. You will be responsible for processing sales invoices, managing refund payouts to stores, and reconciling discrepancies between stores and the head office related to sales, refunds, and airline debit memos. This role involves analyzing data and situations of moderate complexity, exercising judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions.
Main Responsibilities: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.Conduct billing settlement plan reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.Prepare and support month-end reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission.Manage Accounts Payable (AP) reconciliations to maintain accurate vendor records.Handle ad-hoc supporting tasks to assist the finance and operations teams as needed.Process and verify sales invoices promptly and accurately.Manage the payout process for refunded amounts to stores.Reconcile discrepancies between stores and the head office, including sales, refunds, and airline debit memos. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial tasks.Proven analytical and logical thinking skills for problem-solving and data analysis.Availability to work on weekends and public holidays when required.Flexible with working hours to accommodate operational needs.Fundamental experience in the travel industry is highly preferred.
